The formation of cells starts after mechanical completion and after filling electrolyte.

UBT rectifiers with output voltages of up to 330V and current ranges up to 10A per circuit, allow high volume cell formation. Depending on the voltage and current range the units are built in a 19'' cabinet with up to 24 circuits.

The aircooled transistor based power modules provide the required low charging current at almost no ripple.

TCP/IP connection is used to communicate with the supervising PC.

UBT charge/discharge circuits are available for charge only and charge/discharge for all NiCd and NiMH cells.
A drop-out system and a sorting machine complete the installation to achieve an automated formation and grading process.
