The Welding Resistance Tester (WRT) consists of a Control & Power Unit and a Handling Machine for a variety of battery types.
The standard version is a stand-alone station that is typically installed after the intercell welding machine as addition to new assembly lines.
The WRT can also be integrated into already existing assembly lines using the operating conveyor.
A highly precise measurement system equipped with a 5-channel Kelvin test head ensures reliable and accurate results of the intercell resistance.
The Welding Resistance Tester is used in battery assembly lines to detect defective intercell connections. It is equipped with a 5-channel test head for car and truck batteries. It features 1-20 µΩ DC resistance ranges and a multi-line LC display for OCV, CCV, and DCR measurements for 5 intercell connections.
